400 Series - Super Elongation Ink

Contains No Harmful Lead and is DOP Free

Highly Opaque Plastisol Ink with Very High Stretchability

400 Series Super Elongation Inks are designed for super elongation which means high stretchability. 400 Series plastisol inks will stretch and retract on materials such as spandex, lycra, neoprene and sports uniforms. 400 Series is available in a range of high opacity colors (refer to color guide). 400 Series plastisol ink has a low curing temperature for heat sensitive fabrics. 400 Series Super Elongation Inks are also available in a Phthalate Free version (please call for details).

Technical Information for Excalibur® 400 Series

Screen Mesh: Under normal conditions, use a mesh count of 60-110/inch (24T-44Tcm). Use a higher mesh count depending on individual effect that is required.

Curing: The print will heat cure at temperatures as low as 260°F (127°C) for 3½ minutes or 280°F (138°C) for 2½ minutes. (Higher temperatures reduces curing time.)

Reducers: If viscosity modification is necessary, use a very slight amount, up to 3% of 501 Curable Reducer or 502 Viscosity Reducer may also be used. The addition of 502 Reducer to the ink can greatly increase plastisol ink curing time. Testing is strongly recommended.

Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
