Technical Information for Excalibur® 400LB Series
Stencil: All types of stencils may be used for screen printing 400LB Series Low Bleed White. If Phthalate Free prints are a requirement, use Phthalate Free Photo Emulsion.
Screen Mesh: 60 to 160/inch (24 to 64/cm) screen mesh may be used. The choice of screen mesh depends on the ink deposit and opacity required.
Reducer: Use 502PF Reducer. Up to 3% may be added to reduce the ink.
Curing: 400LB Series will cure at temperatures from 285°F to 325°F (140°C to 160°C). Extra time in the curing oven may be required for lower curing temperature. After curing, let the print cool. It should stretch without cracking. If the print cracks too easily, it is under cured and oven temperature should be increased or the speed should be slower.
Squeegee: Medium Durometer is recommended.
Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
