Four Color Direct Printing with a Very Soft Hand Feel

600 Series Process Inks can be used for four color process screen printing. 600 Series should be printed on light backgrounds only. Excalibur Process Inks have a very soft hand feel. 600 Series is also available in a Phthalate Free version (call for details).
Series Colors and Bases: Process Black, Process Blue, Process Cyan, Process Red, Process Yellow, Process Magenta, 505 Base (process)
Technical Information for Excalibur® 600 Series
Drying: Excalibur Ink will fully heat cure when the entire ink film reaches 310°F (154°C). Light colors may require longer periods to obtain this temperature.
Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
Screen Mesh: For direct printing, up to 305/inch (122cm) polyester may be used. For heat transfers, see the Four Color Process Transfers section of this website.
Ink Modification: For softer hand, limited amounts of 502 Reducer may be used to achieve the desired consistency. Limited amounts of 502 Reducer will duplicate the look and feel of a water based-print. Excess amounts may increase curing time. Use maximum of 3% to 5%. 501 Curable Reducer - can be used in any quantity to increase softness.
Squeegee: Medium Durometer is recommended.
Stencil: Most types of stencils may be used for screen printing 600 Series Process Inks.
