Technical Information for Solar Change Plastisol Ink
Important: Because Solar Change Plastisol Ink is not exposed to UV light, press setup will be more difficult than a normal screen printing job. To resolve this situation, the best solution is to set up a black light to make the ink become visible. Testing is strongly recommended.
Sceen Mesh: Use a screen mesh up to 160/inch (64T cm) polyester for best results.
Stencil: Most types of stencils may be used for screen printing Solar Change Plastisol Inks.
Squeegee: Medium Durometer squeegee is recommended.
Drying: Will fully cure when the entire ink film reaches a temperature of 320°F (160°C).
Ink Modification: For softer hand, limited amounts of 502 Reducer may be used to achieve the desired consistency. As you increase the amount used, opacity will diminish quickly. Excess amounts may increase curing time.
Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
