750 Series - Stone Print Ink

Create "Simulated" Prints That Are Hard as Stone!

Extreme Opacity with Exceptional Washability

Stone Print Ink produces a print that has a sharp / hard feel. Using a thick stencil, Stone Print Ink simulates a "stone" effect that can be printed onto a T-Shirt or textile garment. Stone Print is very unique because it allows you to create prints that have a rough texture similar to that of rock surfaces. 750 Series Stone Print is extremely opaque and has excellent washability.

Technical Information for Excalibur® 750 Series

Using a thick stencil, Stone Print produces a print that has a sharp, hard feel. Stone Print simulates a “stone” effect that can be printed onto a T-Shirt. Not only can you create prints that look like stone but you also have 11 colors to choose from or you can create any color using Stone Print Base and our PC System. Stone Print Base may be used as a stone underbase. After flash curing, regular plastisol colors may be printed on top.

Screen Mesh: 60/inch (24T cm) is recommended, however mesh counts of up to 110/inch (44T cm) may be used for finer detail.

Stencil: 250 to 400 micron direct capillary stencils are recommended. The thinner stencils may require repeated print/flash/print cycles to obtain desired effect. Direct Emulsion may be used with multiple coat and dry applications for desired thickness.

Squeegee: Medium Durometer squeegee is recommended.

Curing: Heat cure the print at 320°F (160°C) to 350°F (177°C).

Caution: Curing times will increase greatly because of the thickness of the ink film. The cured print should resist cracking. If print is undercured poor washability may result.

Reducer: Small amounts (1-3%) of 502 Viscosity Reducer can be added if required.

Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
