Reflective Plastisol for Direct Printing or Heat Transfers

Retroflec 2 Reflective Plastisol Ink is a highly reflective ink for direct printing or heat transferring onto textile fabrics. Light will “bounce” or reflect off of the print back to its source such as headlights, etc. Retroflec 2 Reflective Ink can be used on most textile fabrics, including cottons, polyesters, cotton polyblends and some nylons. Pretesting the suitability of this product for any particular application is highly recommended.

Technical Information for Retroflec 2 Reflective Ink

Screen Mesh: 60-110/inch (24T-44T cm) is recommended.

Stencil: Most types of stencils may be used for screen printing Retroflec 2 Reflective Ink.

Squeegee: Medium Durometer squeegee is recommended.

Curing: Heat Cure as other plastisol inks. Retroflec 2 Reflective Ink may require more curing time because it reflects some of the heat produced by the dryer.

Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.

Note: Retroflec has a very delicate finish. If maximum washfastness is required for garments which will be laundered more frequently (such as T-shirts), it is highly recommended to add 10 - 15% WA100 additive to the ink prior to printing. Only mix enough ink for immediate printing as shelf life of mixture is only about 4 hours.
