Foam Grip Stretches and Retracts Without Breaking!
Ideal for Screen Printing on Gloves and Socks
825 Series Foam Grip is a plastisol ink for special purpose “non-slip” coatings. Ideal for gloves and socks. When screen printed with a thick coating, it gives a slightly raised “foam” finish. 825 Series Foam Grip works well on lycra and spandex. Foam Grip stretches and retracts without breaking. 825 Series is also available in Phthalate Free (call for details).
Screen Mesh and Stencil: Use 60-80/inch (24T-32T cm) screen mesh. Most types of stencils may be used for screen printing 825 Series Plastisol Inks.
Squeegee: Medium Durometer is recommended.
Printing Method: Screen print with light squeegee pressure to "puddle" the ink on the surface of the fabric. Too much squeegee pressure will drive the plastisol ink into the fabric and will cause a poor foaming effect.
Curing: 825 Series takes longer to heat cure than conventional plastisol inks. The starting point should be 1½ to 3 minutes at 350°F (177°C). When final cure is achieved, the ink should feel foamy and tacky. The final print should stretch, retract and also resist rub-off.
Ink Cleanup: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend.
