Technical Information for Excalibur® 878SS Series
878SS can be used in areas where an opaque white puff is desired. 878SS should be printed as the last color down on a hot split transfer.
Screen Mesh: 60-110/inch (24T-44T cm) screen mesh is recommended.
Heat Curing: 878SS Series must be gelled on the paper. If puffing occurs on the paper the transfer will not work properly as poor washability will occur. The inks will gel in a range of 220°F-240°F (104°C-116°C) for 60-90 seconds. Gel times are approximate only, and will vary with the dryer used. To determine proper time for your particular dryer perform the “Finger Test”. After gelling through dryer, tap the design with your finger. This should leave a slight mark without lifting any ink with your finger.

Squeegee: Medium Durometer (70) is recommended.
