The addition of Aquafix Self Curing Additive to Aquatex or Duratex Inks allows the inks to fully cure within 72 hours without heat curing. Large expensive dryers are not required! Although heat is not required prints may be run through any type of dryer to allow pieces to be stacked. The Aquafix System greatly increases production speed for large textile printers and there are no more washability issues.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Directions:Add 2% Aquafix Fixative by volume to Aquatex and Duratex Textile Inks. Mix only the amount required to be used within approximately 4 hours of mixing. It is advisable to wear gloves when handling Aquafix Fixative. Prints can be cured and stacked or air dried only. Full washability occurs 72 hours after printing. Addition of 1% will greatly increase washability for traditional heat cured prints. Many screen printers use 1% Aquafix to improve washability.
Clear soft base used for extending or mixing colors. Ideal for all Color Tone pigments. AQT 1010 Clear contains all the necessary ingredients such as binders, etc. The perfect base system for 'spraying' or 'dipping' applications. Simply add pigment for color and extend with water. Use as needed.
Specially formulated retarder and lubricant. Prevents drying in the screen over long periods of time. Used for very fine mesh screens on long print runs without clogging or drying in. Add 5% retarder to ink.
